About Us

Picture
IT takes a team of talented technicians to create a web site such as this one is. I have the four gentlemen standing behind me to thank for accomplishing this task. Left to right are: Ben Kohanski, my full-time associate as data editor and manager. Next to him is Mark Schlepphorst, my business partner and Publisher of this web venture. Then there is Joel Iskowitz, Art Director, noted artist and creator of American coins and medals -- more than a dozen for the U.S. Mint and Signature Art Medals – as well as other medallic and print creations. Finally is Bob Pirla, master photographer, who supplies many of the color photographs in this web site.

My chore has been, and is, to compile the data about each item, each medal, to place it in the correct category and cite the appropriate reference in numismatic literature. I have done this for twenty years and remain dedicated to continue this into the future.  For my detailed biography, click here.
