AGOPOFF, Agop (1905-1983) Bulgarian-American sculptor, medalist.
          Full name: Agop Minass Agopoff.
          Born Silven, Bulgaria, 15 May 1905.
          Came to America 1929.
          Prepared four portrait tablets for Dow Chemical in 1970.
          Fellow: National Sculpture Society.
          Awarded: J. Sanford Saltus Medal for Medallic Art by
          American Numismatic Society, 1980.
          Winner National Sculpture Society Lindsey Morris
          Memorial prize for two years, 1964 and 1980, for best
          bas-relief (including medallic art) for his portrait
          medals of John F. Kennedy and J. Edgar Hoover.
          Died Denville, New Jersey, 12 May 1983.
