AMES, Blanche  (1878-1969) painter, sculptor.
           Married name: Mrs. Oakes Ames.
           Born Lowell, Massachusetts, 18 February 1878.
           She painted her husband's botany specimens to illustrate
           his books. Signed her sculpture models BA monogram.
           Died North Easton, Massachusetts, 1 March 1969.
