BENSON, John Howard  (1901-1956) designer, modeller.
          Born Newport, Rhode Island, 6 July 1901.
          Onetime instructor, head of department of sculpture,
          Rhode Island School of Design. His bust of John Adams
          at Fort Adams State Park, Newport, Rhode Island.
          Died Newport, Rhode Island, 23 February 1956.
