BIGERSTAFF, Edwin W.  (active 1891-1908) engraver, Waterbury.
          Listed in Connecticut business directories 1902-08, and
          Waterbury city directories beginning 1891 as an employee
          of Waterbury C. Company; established his own business in
          1906. His advertisement that year soliciting medals, stamps,
          checks, badges and metal souvenirs to engrave, stating he
          had been with Scovill for 10 years. He employed A.E. Betts
          (q.v.) for 2 years (1906-07).
          He removes in 1910 according to city directory, to Pittsburgh
          PA, but never found listed there.
