BLOCK, Adolph  (1906-1978) sculptor, medalist.
          Born New York City, 29 January 1906.
          Prepared architectural sculpture, did official work for
          Architectural League of New York and Allied Artists
          of America. Wrote article “Sculpture To Live With.”
          Signed models AB initials.
          Fellow and president: National Sculpture Society.
          Winner 1958 National Sculpture Society Lindsey Morris
          Prize for best bas-relief (including medallic art).
          Died New York City, 20 August 1978.
