BOVY, Antoine  (1795-1877) Swiss engraver, chief Geneva Mint.
          Full name: Jean Francois Antoine Bovy.
          Born Geneva, Switzerland, 14 December 1795.
          The most prodigious of the three generations of Bovy
          family engravers, he was an engraver at the Swiss Mint,
          Bern where he created Swiss coins and medals. He was
          asked to do some design work for American coins in 1849.
          Died Geneva, Switzerland, 18 September 1877.
