BRIGGS, Lindley  ( 1945- )  sculptor, colorist.
            Born Pittsburgh, Pennsylania, 10 November 1945.
          Education: Connecticut College BS in Sculpture,1967;
          Boston Museum of Fine Arts, sculpture studies and
          Skowhegin School of Painting and Sculpture,1967-69;
          Sanctuary Arts studies in clay portrait and figure
          sculpture with Martin Szosz.
          In 1970 she and her husband, Jeffrey Briggs, established
          a family business of wood carving, she does all coloring.
          Began her medallic creations in 2005. Exhibits at FIDEM
          since 2009; exhibited two medals Belskie Museum, 2009.
          Works in realism style with a touch of fantasy.
          Signs work LB with the B nestled in he L.
            Member: American Medallic Sculpture Assn, 2005-
          Member: Fédération Internationale de la Médaille, 2005-
