BUSH-BROWN, Henry Kirke  (1857-1935) sculptor, medalist.
          Born Ogdensburg, New York, 21 April 1857.
          Nephew of sculptor and portrait painter of similar name, Henry 
          Kirke Brown (1814-1886) (q.v.) for whom he did portrait bust for 
          Hall of Fame for Great Americans at New York Univ [see D15 {1957} 
          Groce & Wallace, p 86].

          Henry Kirke Bush-Brown was the father of James Bush-Brown (q.v.) who
          also prepared medals.
          Signed models with back-to-back BB (sometimes with KH between) monogram, 
          also with HKBB initials, and H-B-B-CO on the Washington Irving Medallion.
          Honorary Fellow: National Sculpture Society. Member National Arts Club.
          Died Wellsville, New York, 1 March 1935.
