CALLENDER, Joseph  (1751-1821) Colonial American engraver.
          Born Boston, Massachusetts, 6 May 1751.
          Engraver, diesinker with Jacob Perkins (q.v.) for
          Massachusetts Mint. Listed as engraver in Boston 1805-21.
          Worked with Paul Revere (q.v.) engraving printing plates
          for Royal American Magazine (Boston, 1774).
          Died Boston, Massachusetts, 10 November 1821.
