CANIFF, Milton  (1907-1988) cartoonist, illustrator, designer.
         Born Hillsboro, Ohio, 28 February 1907.
        Creator Terry & The Pirates cartoon strip. An aviation
        enthusiast, he supported the Aviation Hall of Fame and
        designed the sixth and seventh medal in the series.
        Died New York City, 3 April 1988.
