CHAMPENY, George Francis  (fl 1875) diesinker, inventor.
          Could this spelling be Champney?
          Forrer lists this American diesinker who invented
          and patented methods to prevent coins from being
          imitated and who "travelled all over the continent in
          1875, but met with little success [for his process]."
