CHILDS, Shubael D. Junior  (fl 1851-1870) engraver, Chicago. Active in firm established 1837 by his father for
engraving, diesinking and seal-cutting. Shaubel Junior entered the business 1851, assumed control on his father's
death (date?) and rebuilt business after Great Chicago Fire of 1870 but appears to be absent for the great
outpouring of medals for the Chicago World's Fair (1892-3).
