CIANFARANI, Aristide Berto  (1895-1960) sculptor.
          Born Italy, 3 August 1895. Came to U.S. 1913.
          Worked as stonecutter, modeled jewelry designs.
          Employed by Gorham 10 December 1917; to Army
          Signal Corps 1918; reinstated Gorham 10 February 1919.
          Studied sculpture abroad 1922. Employed International
          Silver 1923-1925. Established sculpture studio, Providence
          1926; did Lincoln Bust, architectural bronzework. In 1935
          he modeled Borg-Warner Trophy for Indianapolis 500,
          designed by Robert J. Hill and produced by Gorham
          Died 19 February 1960.
