COCHRANE, Harry Hayman  (1860-1946) architect, muralist, designer.
          Born Augusta, Maine, 6 April 1860.
          Numismatic researcher Roger W. Burdette makes the
          point in a two-part series of articles in Coin World that
          Cochrane designed [more properly, delineated] the
          Maine Commemorative half dollar, modeled by Anthony
          de Francisci, of essentially the Maine State seal. He was
          a member of the 1920 Maine State Centennial committee.
          Died Lewistown, Maine, 21 September 1946.
