DAUTEL, Pierre Victor  (1873-1954) French medalist.
          Born Valenciennes, France, 19 March 1873. 
          Won Grand Prix of Rome in 1902, medal awards in 1907,
          1910, 1913. In 1927 he won a Medal of Honor.
          French friend of Weil Brothers of Medallic Art Co, NYC,
          who commissioned him to create their 25th anniversary medal.
          Died 12 November 1954.
