DIXON, Roger  (fl 1788-97) English diesinker, Birmingham.
          Breen states that Dixon was one of three possible engravers of the American Colonial coins (and Washington
          token) listed below; the other possibilities were Francis Arnold or William Mainwaring. All were struck by
          William Lutwyche (q.v.), also of Birmingham.
