FRASER, Laura Gardin (1889-1966) sculptor, medalist.
          Born Chicago, Illinois, 14 September 1889.
          Began exhibiting her medals at the National Academy of
          Design Shows (1912): several unspecified medals in 1912,
          specific medals in 1913, 1915, 1918 (see below).
          Signed with LGF in monogram (11 different); monogram
          in combination with husband, Oregon Trail coin and medal.
          Fellow: National Sculpture Society.
          Awarded: J. Sanford Saltus Medal for Medallic Art by
          American Numismatic Society, 1926.
          Died Westport, Connecticut, 13 August 1966.
