FUCHS, Emil  (1866-1929) Austrian-British-American sculptor, medalist.
          Born Vienna, Austria, 9 August 1866.
          Worked in England (1897-1906), before coming to America
          (first for the winters only), locating in New York City
          permanently in 1906.
               itute (1923) individual items not identified, and twice
          at the National Academy of Design (1921, 1926-W).
          His autobiography, Brush and Chisel (life of the artist)
          published 1925. 
          Signed models EF initials.
          Fellow: National Sculpture Society.
          Died a suicide, New York City, 13 January 1929.
          Only his American work listed herein.
