GAMBLE, Susan  G. ( 1957-2015) graphic illustrator, designer.
          Born Virginia, 1957
          Educated: Virginia Commonwealth University School
          of Arts, with degree in Fine Arts, 1978. Self-taught in
          desktop publishing which laer led to graphic design.


          Appointed Master Designer to U.S. Mint 24 February
          2004 under the Artistic Infusion Program. All her
          designs for the U.S. Mint were for coins -- no medals,
          but did include one decoration, U.S. Air Force Combat
          Action Medal – her coin designs included one side of
          five coin series Iincluding two circulatiung quarters),
          six commemoratie coins, and one bullion coin.
          Won a COTY, Coin Of The Year award (from Krause
          Publications) in Historial Significance for her reverse
          design of the 2007 Jamestown silver dollar. Awarded:
          Excellence in Design Award from U.S. Mint 2008. 
          Died New Braunffeis  (San Antonio) Texas, 14 January
          2015.
