GETZ, Peter  (florished 1792-1797) Colonial American
          diesinker, jewelwer, silversmith, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
            Fielding quotes William Barton (Life of David Rittenhouse)
            Getz was "a self-taught mechanic of singular ability." He
            was a Mason and because of this he is credited with the
            Washington Masonic Medal of 1797.
