         Full name: Hurbert FranHois Bourguignon d’Anville. 
         French engraver, painter, illustrator.
         Born Paris 26 March 1699.
         Began working in London 1733 where his book illustrations
         earned him a small fortune, then returned to Paris 1746.
         Died Paris, 19 April 1773.
