HOWARD, Cecil  (1888-1956) Canadian-American sculptor, medalist.
           Full name: Cecil de Blaquière Howard.
           Born Clifton, Canada, 2 April 1888 of British parents.
           Naturalized American citizen 1895.
           Produced two war memorials in France, but bulk of
           his work were portraits and sculptures in polychrome,
           sports figures and nudes in bronze.
           Died New York City, 5 September 1956.
           Fellow: National Sculpture Society.
