JACOBS, Michel  (1877-1958) Canadian-American sculptor, author, painter.
            Born Montreal, Canada, 10 September 1877.

            Served in American Army with rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
            His portrait of Oscar W. Underwood in U.S. Capitol,
            painted portraits of political, military figures.

            Died Rumson, New Jersey, 4 February 1958.
