JOHNSON, D. Wayne  (1930- ) designer, numismatist, author.
          Full name: Richard Wayne Johnson.
          Born Kansas City, Missouri, 27 August 1930.
          Employed by Medallic Art Company as staff numismatist,
          cataloger, researcher, editor The Art Medalist, Jan 1966--
          Dec 1976. Established company archives and compiled
          card catalog of firm's issues 1907–1975.Rehired 33 years
          later, appointed Corporate Historian for the firm.
