JOHNSON, H.  (fl 1849-1863) engraver, diesinker, Cincinnati.
          Name variation: H. Johnston.  Full first name unknown.
          A partner with, and probable relative of, William B.
          Johnson (q.v.) in the Cincinnati firm of H. & W. Johnson.
          The firm engraved dies for Cincinnati Mining and Trading
          Company in Cincinnati for coins issued in California. 
          Breen states they also prepared Civil War token dies.
