JONES, Anthony W.  (fl 1818-61) sculptor, carver.
          Groce and Wallace imply he was a carver before 1850,
          because he was listed as a sculptor "only after 1850."
          But he was experienced in modeling to exhibit a "bust
          of General James Tallmadge at the 1844 Fair of the
          American Institute."
