JONES, Thomas Dow  (1811-1881) sculptor, designer.
           Born Oneida County, New York, 11 December 1811.
           Prepared busts and statues; his bust of Salmon P.
           Chase in the United States Capitol. He also prepared
           one or more bas-reliefs as models for medals.
           Died Columbus, Ohio, 27 February 1881.
