KUNTZE, Edward J, A.  (1826-1870) German-American sculptor,
             etcher.  Born Pomerania, Germany, 1826. Came to America 1852;
            worked in Philadelphia until 1857, removed to New York City
            until death, 1870, except in London (1860-1863) where he exhibited 16
            works at the Royal Academy. He created statues of Shakespeare
            and Lincoln. Died New York City, 10 April1870.
