MAAS, Geert  (1944-  )  Dutch-Canadian sculptor.
           Born Nijmegen, The Netherlands. 29  August 1944.
           Imiraated to Kelowna, Caanada, 1979. Here he
           established a studio and his Sculpture Gardens

           Educated: In Nethderlands, Peter Kanis Academy,
           Nijmegen, Art History with honors, 1967; Academy
           of Art, specccializing in sculpture, ceramis, drawing,
           painting, The Hague, 1969; Kijkduin Academy, 1970,
           Applied art teaching diploma, 1975.   
           Works in a simplified imaging style.

           Member: American Medallic Society Association.
           Member: Federation Internationale de la Medaille.
           Sculptors Society of Canaca and British Columbia.
