MAVERICK, Peter Rushton  (1755-1811) American
           Colonial engraver, seal cutter, silversmith.
           Born New York City, 11 April 1755.
           Engraved bookplates, portraits, landscapes.

           Died New York City, 12 December 1831.

           He had three sons, a son of the same names was
           also an engraver, as was a son Samuel.It is
           unknown if any of their medallic work survives.
