OSTENDORF, Lloyd  (1921-2000) designer, illustrator.
           Full name Arthur Lloyd Ostendorf Junior.
           Born Dayton, Ohio, 23 June 1921
           Recognized authority on Abraham Lincoln pictures;
           co-author, with Charles Hamilton, of Lincoln in
           Photographs, an Album of Every Known Pose.
           Member Dayton Society of Painters and Sculptors.
           
           [Cataloger's note: Lloyd Ostendorf was the first person
           I interviewed–on Lincoln Cent–for an article which
           appeared in pilot issue of Coin World in 1960--DWJ.]
           Died Dayton, Ohio, 27 October 2000.
