PERCIVAL, Henry  (1813-c1872) British-American engraver     
          and diesinker, in New York City 1851, in Philadelphia 1854.
          Born England 1813. Came to America before 1851.
          In New York City he was probably partner of William
          Eaves (q.v.), and in Philadelphia a partner of William
          Barber, later chief engraver of U.S. Mint (q.v.).
          Percival manufactured seal presses, envelopes and created
          advertising logotypes and cameo stamps.
          Died Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, ca 1872.
