As bandmaster, performed National Peace Jubilee, Boston,
1869; Chicago Peace Jubilee 1873; designed medals for
each. Traveled in Canada and Europe. Wrote When
Johnny Comes Marching Home Again (used pseudonym:
Louis Lambert).
Died 24 September 1892.
