KNOX, Joseph B. (1828-1905) Owner of a engraving and
diesinking firm in Worcester, Massachusetts. He had a
succession of businesses, hired Charles Lang in late 1855
or early 1856, ultimately to form the partnership of Knox &
Lang (1858-60) – with Lang as the engraver – to make
embossed cards & stationery, cameo stamps, seal presses,
small diestruck items.
