PISTRUCCI, Benedetto  (1784-1855) Italian-British engraver.
          Born Rome Italy, 29 May 1784.
          Famed coin and medal engraver from 1816 to 1825 in
          addition to engraving cameos, modeling in wax.
          Commissioned in 1815 to engrave dies for a Waterloo
          Medal, finshed 34 years later in1849 but size too large,
          5 ½-inch (133mm), to be struck, was issued as electrotype .
          Died Windsor, Engalnd, 16 September 1855.
